Sam Horowitz’s nearly 30 year career in the financial markets has spanned a variety of trading and management roles across sellside, buyside and intermediary businesses. Sam currently serves on the ACI's UK Executive Committee as well as it's global FX committee. Currently working within Treasury Markets leadership at cross border payments firm Wise, he formerly headed up Global Markets eFX Trading at BBVA, with previous stints also building and managing trading businesses at CMC Markets, Rabobank, UBS Asset Management, Louis Capital FX, Lloyds Bank and Marex Spectron adding to his broad cross market and cross asset experience.
Elliot Hentov is head of macro policy research in State Street Global Advisors' global macro team. He is responsible for research and thought leadership, linking policy impulses to financial markets and economics, and is the company's chief geopolitical strategist. Hentov joined State Street from Standard & Poor's sovereign ratings group where he was a director and lead analyst for sovereigns and government-related entities in central, eastern and Mediterranean Europe. Before that, he served as a political affairs officer at the UN's headquarters in New York, advising senior officials on political and economic issues in the Middle East and Europe. Hentov holds a PhD from Princeton University and a master's degree in international affairs from Georgetown University and has authored publications in the Financial Times, the New York Times, the Business Times, Foreign Policy, and Washington Quarterly. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum in London and a non-resident fellow at the Middle East Institute in Washington, DC.
Arnab Das joined Invesco in London in 2015 as head of EMEA and EM macro research and has been global macro strategist, EMEA since 2018, engaging on economics, policy and markets with institutional and official investors, governments, the IMF and other official institutions, as well as Invesco investment teams. Arnab has 30 years of investment industry experience, including co-head of economic research and strategy, Roubini Global Economics (2009-2013); co-head, global economics and strategy, head of FX strategy and head of EM research, Dresdner Kleinwort (2001-09); head of EMEA EM research and senior EM strategist, JP Morgan (1992-2001). He has provided policy advice and views on economics, markets, communication, sovereign risk and ratings to policymakers in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Russia, Turkey, South Africa, India, Indonesia, South Korea, governments affected by the Eurozone crisis, the IMF and the US Treasury. Arnab studied at Princeton (AB) and LSE (PhD). His research interests include economics, economic and financial history, geopolitics and geo-economics.
Lauren van Biljon is a portfolio manager and the head of Rates & FX for the Global Fixed Income team at Allspring Global Investments. In this role, she is responsible for macro portfolio allocation, portfolio positioning, and risk management for rates and FX. Lauren joined Allspring from its predecessor firm, Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM). Lauren earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Cape Town and a master’s degree in economics from the University of Edinburgh. Lauren has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and is a member of the Society of Technical Analysts.

Mimi Rushton is Head of Global FX Distribution & Co-Head of Risk Solutions Group (RSG) at Barclays, responsible for client coverage focused on FX and Rate risk management. She is a member of the Macro Management Team. Since joining Barclays in 2007 in a Rates and FX sales role, Mimi has held a number of management roles in London and New York. She was appointed Global Co-Head of FX Distribution in July 2019, and in 2023 she assumed additional responsibility for the Risk Solutions Group, leveraging her extensive experience in risk management with corporate and sponsor clients. Mimi has held a rotational appointment on the Global Markets Executive Committee and served as an ex-officio member on the Group Executive Committee throughout 2021. Alongside her client responsibilities, Mimi is a fervent advocate for diversity and inclusion, actively driving events and initiatives to foster an inclusive environment for colleagues across Global Markets division and the Investment Bank. Mimi is a member of the Bank of England Foreign Exchange Joint Standing Committee (FXJSC) and is the on the Board for the Global Financial Markets Association Foreign Exchange Division (GFXD). Mimi began her career in Rates Sales at Lloyds TSB in London. She holds a Masters of Engineering degree from Cambridge University.

Duncan Wood is the London-based editor-in-chief of Risk.net. He was promoted to the role at the start of 2015, to lead the editorial reorganisation of the website and its print titles. Wood had been editor of Risk magazine since July 2011. He rejoined Risk as European editor in October 2009, having originally worked for Risk and Asia Risk in London and Hong Kong as a writer and researcher between 1998 and 2000.
In the intervening years, Wood was news editor for the Oliver Wyman-founded online start-up ERisk.com. He also worked freelance for six years while living in Germany, with his work featuring in Euromoney, Financial News, IFR, and The Wall Street Journal, as well as Risk magazine and its sister titles. Wood has written about derivatives and risk throughout his 17-year career in journalism. He is a Neal Awards finalist, and has won Incisive Media's journalist and editor of the year awards.
Jim is a Senior Managing Director, and Global Head of eFX Trading at State Street. Prior to joining State Street, Jim was the Global Head of Product Strategy at FXall, and a member of the management team. Jim started his career in eFX Trading at Dresdner Kleinwort in 2000. He graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Philosophy and Psychology.
Tgetg Roethlin is a specialist in FX currently heading the EMEA eFX Principal Trading Division for UBS. Tgetg started his journey at UBS in 2008 in FX Prime Brokerage. He then moved to business management, later settling in eFX trading in 2011. Ever since 2019, he has been leading the EMEA eTrading team. Tgetg has a BSc in Nutritional Engineering from ETH in Zurich and has also been awarded his CFA.

My trading experience began in 1995 and have been with T. Rowe Price since 2001. Prior to this, I was employed by Daiwa SB Asset Management and JP Morgan Chase Fleming Asset Management as a foreign exchange dealer.

With over 30 years of experience in banking and finance, Mark has a diverse background in trading, operations, and technology. He has led successful transformation programs across various domains and has been instrumental in the development of several Tier 1 Bank’s Single and Multi-Dealer platforms.
Mark has pioneered innovative projects such as the launch of FX Everywhere, a DLT solution for Post FX Trade Payment vs Payment, and has been actively involved in CBDC FX engagement with numerous Central Banks. Currently, he is responsible for assessing and implementing Digital technologies, focusing on Cash, Capital, and Collateral, and overseeing their impacts on Risk, Liquidity, Operations, and Technology within the Foreign Exchange and Commodities business.
Andrei Kazantsev is Global Head of Cryptocurrency Derivatives Trading at Goldman Sachs. In that role, he manages crypto derivatives risk for the firm and is responsible in leading the expansion of the range of institutional crypto-related products and services offered at Goldman Sachs to new and existing clients. In conjunction, Andrei continues to work within Foreign Exchange Options trading team, that he joined in 2011, focusing on exotic products and risk management of exotic options portfolios.
Andrei holds a Masters Degree and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London.
He is a trustee of Tête-à-Tête – an opera charity and serves on the Strategic Advisory Board at the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London.
Stéphane Malrait is Managing Director, Global Head of Market Structure and Innovation for Financial Markets, at ING Bank. Stephane is responsible for following the market structure and industry challenges impacting the financial market industry. He is leading innovation activities internal to ING and also external partnerships and developments with Fintech companies. He actively contributes to industry working groups to represent ING Bank.
Stéphane joined ING in 2015 to lead the bank e-commerce initiatives across all financial market products and to develop on the financial market group’s cross-asset eCommerce strategy. Before joining ING, Stephane spent eight years at Société Générale, where he was Global Head of FIC eCommerce, creating an eCommerce business covering credit, rates, money market, emerging market, and FX. Prior to this, Stéphane worked at JPMorgan Chase for ten years, serving in different roles in Global FX E-Commerce Business Management and cross-asset eCommerce technology and was based in London and New York.
Stephane has a strong background in financial markets and understands the need for continued technological development to drive positive change in trading and market structure workflows. He is leading ING's Financial Market Innovation strategy and also working on the implementation of financial regulations that will impact the client trading activities and transform how the trading floor operates.
Stephane is also a board member for several Fintech market initiatives and trading associations. Since 2005 he has been active with the ACI Financial Market Association - an international non-profit organisation that represents the interests of market professionals in foreign exchange and money markets. Here, he has chaired the ACI FX Committee, representing the views of professionals in the FX sector. He is also an active member of the ECB FX contact group working on the BIS Global FX code of conduct working groups.

Noel Singh is Head of eFX Business Development at Sucden Financial, leading the firm’s expansion of its non-bank FX prime brokerage business. He has over 25 years of experience in banking and currency trading and joined the company from ABN Amro Clearing Bank, where he managed their OTC FX clearing business.
Past positions include Head of FX Prime Brokerage for SEB and senior roles at Integral Development, Dresdner Kleinwort, EBS and also Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank, prior to its merger.
Brian started Finteum in 2018, to create an interbank market for intraday liquidity. Finteum is now live with intraday FX swaps, with CIBC and UBS having completed the first production trades earlier in 2024. Intraday repo is following soon. Prior to Finteum, Brian worked for 8 years in the front office and treasury in liquidity in UBS and Bank of Ireland.
Graham is the CEO of BlueX, he leads the new FX EMS set to revolutionise the market with integrated Pre-Trade analytics, providing real-time insights for informed decisions, resulting in optimal execution efficiency.
As a finance veteran with over 25 years’ experience, Graham’s career spans investment banking, fintech trading platforms, and leading elite sales and relationship management teams.
Graham ran the regulatory board for both Refinitiv and LSEG’s MTF businesses as CEO, and has a deep domain understanding of financial markets and insights from overseeing some of the world’s largest FX platforms.

Having started his career as an economist, Jon went on to be Head FX Strategy at Jefferies following portfolio manager and proprietary trading roles at organisations including HSBC, Credit Suisse, RBS and Bank of America.
Chirine is the co-founder and CEO of TwoWay, building next-gen solutions for investment bank traders. TwoWay optimizes market-making workflows, making traders' lives easier, while bringing unique real-time market insights to front-office and risk teams.
Prior to TwoWay, Chirine was the global head of innovation at Finastra and spent more than 15 years in the financial software space.
